Navien & Taco 2-day Factory Training Event

Time: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Location: Navien Head Office 20 Goodyear Irvine California 92618   Navien & Taco 2-day Factory Training Event: This joint Navien and Taco event will be an in-depth hydronic training covering the installation, operation, and setup of two Navien units. The Taco hydronic training will include heat loss, heat emitters, piping, zoning, and ECM circulator operation and application. The Navien section will focus on the NFB-H (Firetube Boiler) and NFC-H (Firetube Combination Unit). Training led by; John Barba – Taco Director of Sales and Training North America Matt Curro – Navien North American Training Manager TO REGISTER FOR TRAINING PLEASE VISIT: Navien Academies · Navien Training Academies (navieninc.com) Subjects covered include, but not limited to: Navien NFC-H, NFB-H • Product applications • Unit selection and sizing for residential/commercial • Warranty information/procedures • Gas line requirements including, gas conversion, venting, wiring • System piping and layout • DIP switch settings • Multiple unit cascade control, wiring and setup Taco Hydronics Section Basic heat loss calculations Flow, head, and pipe sizing Air elimination, boiler piping, and pumping away Zoning options, zone valves vs circulators Importance of proper circulator selection Nuts and bolts of ECM variable speed technology Training Schedule: March 25 Various Arrival times – Check in to Hampton Inn Irvine Spectrum Address: 23021 Lake Center Dr B, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States Dinner on your Own March 26 Breakfast Provided at hotel. 8:00 Hilton Provided Shuttle to Navien Office (20 Goodyear, Irvine) 8:30 – 4:30 – Training at Navien Office 4:30 – Shuttles back to hotel 5:30 – Shuttle to K1 Speed (Go Karting) 17221 Von Karman Ave #6201, Irvine, CA 92614, United States 6:00 – 9:30 – Racing, dinner and drinks provided at K1 9:30 – Return shuttle departs from K1. March 27 Buffet breakfast provided at hotel Check out from hotel prior to departure to Navien 8:00 - Shuttle to Navien (20 Goodyear, Irvine) 8:30-3:30 – Training at Navien Office 3:30 – Depart from Navien. Lunch will be provided both days of training, please advise on any dietary requirements. Hotel rooms are provided for the night before when paying for the hotel option. Navien will pay for room and tax only. The hotel will require you provide a credit card when checking-in, but you will not be charged upon check-out. General Information: Transportation Transportation to and from the airport is not provided. If flying, the nearest airport to our facility is John Wayne Airport. A shuttle will be available to and from the Navien facility and to and from K1 Speed. Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be received at least 3 days prior to training date to receive a full refund. After this period, no refund will be issued. Refunds will be issued in the same form as payment was received. Please allow two weeks for processing. Navien reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. In this event, attendees will be notified and refunds will be issued in full. Dress Code Dress is casual. However, due to safety regulations, you must wear long pants and closed shoes (both heel and toe) when working on equipment.
